Knowing the EMC engineers at Bose, if they say it's analog, it's analog.

headphones was completely analog with no emissions whatsoever"

I have difficulty believing noise-cancellation can be done "completely analog".

How about the suggestion that all toys including Iphones, Ipads, smartphones
and laptops be kept turned-off during the entire flight. Read a book,
newspaper or in-flight magazine and relax; take some time to "unplug".

[PSES] FAA Reconsiders Policy on Personal Electronic Devices

I just posted some info on the announcement yesterday by the FAA on plans for
an industry working group to study the current policies for Personal
Electronics Devices (PEDs) during in-flight operations. There is a 60-day
opportunity for public comment.
