Thanks all that responded. I got the answer and the factory icon is a product of medical equipment and doesn't apply to CE directly 60601-1 I have to switch between several standards, and directives, wife commands et al - and it gets really noisy inside my head sometimes. Thanks for your patience. I want to especially thank the responder that pointed me in the right direction. Since he sent it directly to me rather than the list, I'll keep their identity secret but the appreciation public.

"Manufacturers shall indicate their name, registered trade name or registered trade mark and the address at which they can be contacted on the product or, where that is not possible, on its packaging or in a document accompanying the product.
