We have client that would like to have a local consultant perform a review and issue a report on a piece of industrial machinery for Australian safety requirements.
The unit has been evaluated in the US the applicable standards would be UL 775, B65.1. the equipment has also been evaluated for European requirements for the Machinery Directive to EN 60204-1, EN 1010-1, EN 1010-2 and the EMC Directive to EN 61000-6-3, EN 61000-6-2. The Australian review is to identify any gaps between the US and European requirements with respect to Australian safety requirements. If anyone has the experience or knows of someone with the experience to conduct this evaluation please contact me offline. Thanks John E.
