Hello Group, Does anyone know what would be the correct standard for evaluation of HV generator for industrial X-Rays?
HV generator is comprised of oil immersed HV generator and cascade circuit. Output is 85kV and 2500VA. I found standard EN 50299 Oil-immersed cable connection assemblies for transformers and reactors having highest voltage for equipment Um from 72,5 kV to 550 kV but I am not sure if it is the right one for cable. I checked on the web and some manufacturers are referring to EN 61010-1 standard, but this standard goes only up to 60kV. How to evaluate distances for 85kV? What it means if transformer is immersed in oil with regards of calculation of required cl/crd distances? Thank you for your support.
