Hey Doug,

I love a challenge so I ran-up my favourite Internet browser and entered
"Keytek PK1001D" (without the quotes) into Google (.co.uk flavour) and clicked
on the first link in the resulting list of links proffered by Google. This was
a pdf format Technical Specification Sheet for a number of KeyTeck EMC test
systems options and accessories.

Now the real detective work began...

This file is a whole two pages long, so rather than trawl through the dozen or
so headings, I mustered all the computing power at my disposal, clicked onto
the pdf document and pressed [Ctrl] [F] on my keyboard to invoke the search
function. I entered "PK1001D" into the search parameter box, and after what
seemed like a millisecond or so, I had found the technical specification for
the Keytek PK1001D.

But we are only part way there... Now to track down the illusive Input
Impedance. This wasn't easy because this Technical Specification employed a
nasty little trick to throw me off the scent!

I scoured the dozen or so technical parameters up and down, up and down, but
nowhere could I find the Input Impedance.

Then it hit me, one of those Eureka moments!

It was staring me in the face all along... The very first parameter
specified... "Input Resistance", that crafty impedance had disguised itself as
resistance!

10K +/- 2%

;-)

Subject: [PSES] Keytek PK1001D diff probe

All,

Does anyone happen to know where I can find a specificaiton or data sheet for
the Keytek PK1001D 6kV differential probe that includes the input impedance?

I thought this would be easy but it's turning into a challenge.

Thanks,

-doug
