D1 -> Article 725 of NEC would apply to Class 2/LPS materials, where not
used with haz-V stuff.

Subject: Secondary cable

Dear experts,

Does anyone know if it is required to use approved secondary cable on a
direct plug-in power supply, where output meets limited power source (also
meets class 2 according to UL1310). Power supply is intended for US/CAN
market and it tested according to UL/CSA 60950-1.

There is mentioned something in clause 1.5.5, but it is not clear for me. Is
it enough that material used complies with VW-1 or FT-1 or complete cable
needs to be certified?
Is it enough to use normal PVC cable?
