Hello Group, I am really struggling with this one. Can anyone point me in the right direction for a product safety requirement on a (12, 24, or 36 VDC) trolling motor. It is utilizing a 2.4 GHz transceivers for control (key fobs and foot pedal). For product safety I think UL 1112 may apply but it may not and at a global level I am a bit confused as well, I do not see how the machinery directive would apply but it was suggested. Or should I just meet the EMC, R&TTE and the General Product Safety Directive 2001/95/EC?
