does anybody has experiences with regulatory compliance requirements (example USA: FDA 21 CFR 1040.10) for car entertainment products (CD/DVD/Blue ray) with respect to laser safety? Countries: Algeria, Angola (Sub Sahara), Azerbaijan, Belarus (Guava), Costa Rica, Dominican Republic (LACRO), Egypt, Ghana (Sub Sahara), Gibralta, Indonesia (Asia Pacific), Israel, Jordan, Kazakhstan (Guava), Kenya (Sub Sahara), Korea (South), Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria (Sub Sahara), Panama (LACRO), Peru, Philippines (Asia Pacific), Russia, Serbia (Guava), Sri Lanka (Guava), Syria, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uruguay (LACRO), Vietnam (Guava), Zambia (Sub Sahara), Zimbabwe (Sub Sahara) With reference to the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade I would like to request information on the adoption of the international standard IEC 60825 Safety of laser products in the specified countries: a) Is the international standard series IEC 60825 adopted as national standards in the specified countries? b) Are there any national standards that are comparable to IEC 60825-1? c) Are there any legislative regulations that have to be considered when distributing laser products in your country?
