All A client is looking to supply a radio spectrum monitoring and direction finding system to the Australian Army.
I understand from http://www.acma.gov.au/webwr/aca_home/publications/reports/industry/manuals/emcbook.pdf that such equipment is exempt from ACMA EMC requirements and should meet Department of Defence requirements. I have a couple of questions: * How should the equipment be described for customs purposes - or is just addressing equipment to military sufficient for customs? * What are the "Department of Defence requirements" - are they specified as part of contractual requirements on a product-by-product basis?
