Rich, et al,

Because of a discussion, now so many years ago, my wife
provided a nice wooden tweaser (obtained, most likely, from a kitchen
specialty shop - no expense spared because it comes out of my pocket) to
remove the recalcitrant toast from the toaster.

I recommend it to others as a great solution that meets the
need while minimizing the risk.

Subject: Re: [PSES] Misuse mains cordset

"An example I would give would be somebody using a metal fork or knife to
remove a piece of bread stuck in a toaster."

I would say that bread stuck in a toaster is abnormal toaster operation, not
misuse. Bread stuck in a toaster is as common as a paper jam in a printer.
Using a tool to remove the stuck bread or paper is a misuse? Perhaps tool
misuse. Neither toaster nor printer manufacturers provide tools for
removing stuck bread or paper. So, the user is forced to improvise and
misuse a tool.

Best regards,

Rich
