I have an application for a recuperator that extracts heat from flue gas. The ASME standard (Section IV) for Heating boilers is quite complex and I am just trying to determine if ASME Certification and H-Marking are required for domestic (US/Canada) applications. The standard appears to allow an exemption based on
Boilers used exclusively for hot water, < 200,000 btu (58.6 kW) < 210 degrees F < 120 gallon Any help is appreciated.
