In my point of view, there are two factors that manage screening properties.
Conductance (linearly dependent) (higher = better screening) Inductance ( governed by the braiding); not the longitudinal inductance of any wire, but added inductance due to braiding (I have seen an "optical screening percentage" used for loose braiding, which translates to inductance) Gert Gremmen From: Grasso, Charles [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday 5 September 2015 00:27 To: [email protected] Subject: [PSES] Aluminum-Magnesium alloys used in braided shield Hello, I am researching the properties of braided shields with respect to EMC made with al/mag alloys. Does anyone know of a paper or reference that I can refer to?
