Manufacturers (A) who makes DC low voltage driven products, often buy a Power supply adapter (AC/DC) from a PSU manufacture (B) and include it in the shipment for the complete product.
Under the new LVD & EMC regime, is it required that the manufacturer A have to follow up manufacturer B, in the same manner as described as "OBLIGATIONS OF ECONOMIC OPERATORS>? If you buy adapter directly from the manufacturer B, then manufacturer A actually place the adapter on a market as a distributor. If you buy it from an importer or web-shop, then CE requirements should already have been followed up by those folks. Any thoughts ..
