EMC Design Engineer
In this role, the candidate will work as a member of a cross-functional team 
and will be responsible for design and implementation of EMC solutions on Apple 
products. 

Key Qualifications:
The candidate must have thorough understanding of EMC design, testing of IT 
products and must be highly skilled in EMC/ESD debug techniques. 
Experience in the following areas is required: 
   
   - Prior experience and/or solid education in EMC, ESD, RF and signal 
integrity   

   - Printed circuit board schematic and layout review for emissions and 
immunity control   

   - Mechanical design review of enclosures, connectors, and cables for EMC    

   - Thorough understanding of worldwide EMC regulations, standards and test 
methods   

   - Preparation and execution of test plans and preparing test reports   

   - Hands-on experience with test equipment/EMC chambers   

   - Proven track record in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical EMC 
issues   

   - Excellent written and verbal communications skills    

   - Must be highly motivated and must have excellent organizational skills   


The candidate must be able to travel internationally and must be free of any 
country related travel restrictions. Flexible working hours is a must.

Education:
BSEE with >7 years of experience is required. MSEE/PhD is preferred. 
Additional consideration will be given to experience with electromagnetic 
modeling and simulation tools such as CST, HFSS, ADS and PowerSI. 


EMC Test Engineer
In this role, the candidate will provide testing and debug support to the EMC 
Design Engineering team.


Key Requirements:


   
   - BSEE or equivalent    

   - Knowledge in the operation of EMC test equipment including EMC chambers, 
spectrum analyzers/EMI receivers, ESD test equipment, EFT/Surge test equipment  
  

   - Thorough understanding of worldwide EMC standards and test practices 
applicable for ITE products   

   - Experience in EMC testing and ability to troubleshoot and quickly correct 
test set up related issues   

   - Strong written and verbal communications skills    

   - Highly motivated   

   - Excellent team work skills   


Special consideration given to candidates with   
   - Ability to solder 0201 and smaller sized components, and perform 
electrical/ mechanical rework   

   - Familiarity with Mac/Unix terminal commands    


Responsibilities:   
   - Some of the responsibilities include but not limited to:   

   - Working closely with EMC design engineers and cross functional teams to 
prepare test plans    

   - Executing test plans per EMC standards and working independently   

   - Preparing well organized test reports
