PSNet,

We've been searching for detailed info as to how to proceed
to get Korean acceptance of Explosion proof equipment.

The KOSHA website has a good summary for equipment which
would be routinely supplied to that market. It requires initial
certification or acceptance of a Euro EX certificate then factory
inspections.

This does not adequately cover the case in this instance.
The equipment in question is a one-off custom component which will be
integrated into the application by the Korean customer.

We know that the Korean customer will have to show
compliance to the requirements. What is not clear is as to how to support
that process from the manufacturers end.

If anyone has any relevant experience and/or comments we
would be happy to receive them.
