Hi All, I have a question for emc testing of multiple cables system. Sometimes, such systems have a lot of cables (maybe several hundreds such as avionics). Generally, it is difficult to do emc testing on such systems. It is hard if most cables are unshielded. Usually, many cables or thin conductors pass through one circuilar connector. So when the RE or RS testing is done on them, it is very difficult to locate the victim or radiator. More difficultly, if the EUT is connected with another auxiliary device outside of the semi-anechoic room, it is a hard problem to find out victim or source of interference. Also, it is impossible to use filter or other device to isolate the auxiliary device. Could anybody give me some advice? In my opinion, I think ferrite decoupling clamp can be used. And waveguide can be used for auxiliary device out side of the chamber. I couldn't find out any other way to save time. I'' be appreciated as you have any input. Thanks.
