Dear group,

EN50498 (EMC) Product family standard for aftermarket electronic equipment in 
vehicles  (emissions & limited immunity)

Can I correctly assume that if I apply EN50498 to an inverter specifically 
intended only for use only in a vehicle, then I don’t need to also reference 
the generics EN61000-6-3 or -6-1 or the EN55014-2 (immunity for household 
equip)?
