Hello experts, I'm trying to determine if any compliance requirements apply to Vdc electrical accessory ports included on a diesel engine powered hydraulic pump. The machine provides hydraulic power to various specialized earth excavation tools, connected via umbilical hydraulic and electric lines. For operator convenience, there are:
*12Vdc automotive style accessory socket *dual USB style (power only, no data, no USB logo) port providing 5Vdc The output voltages are labeled on the accessory panel, but rated and maximum output currents are not. The USB-like port is limited by internal machine fusing, which is rated considerably higher than what a USB-certified port would provide. Customer expecting to market primarily in North America and Europe. What standards most directly apply to labeling or specifications of these accessory ports?
