One really excellent installation relied on the fact that the chamber was ferrite tile-lined with an overlay of the white cardboard pyramids. Thus didn't need nearly as much light as ferrite tiles alone or blue cones. LEDs were outside the chamber, placed in the end of a plastic light pipe, which in turn penetrated into the chamber through a waveguide-beyond-cutoff pipe. All wiring and all noise outside the chamber. Brilliant white light within.
