The reason for asking about Taiwan, is because the product in this case is
produced there.

Various testing could be carried out in Taiwan, unlike today's arrangement
where the equipment is shipped to the EU testing.

Thanks.

Amund

Subject: [PSES] Taiwan - EMC and electrical safety test lab

In Scandinavia:

One day in EMC chamber and 1 day for other EMC testing can be to a cost of EUR
4.000

IEC60950-1 on a 12VDC PCB card can be to a cost of EUR 5.000

EMC test labs have long lead times, maybe 2-3 months.

LVD/CB labs have maybe 1-2 months.

What are the price levels in Taiwan?

Is it faster access to the test labs?

Thanks.

Best regards

Amund
