Hello John. The problem is we have over 7000 different spare assemblies and I don't really want to issue a DoC for each one. Previous product DoCs have had to list each model in the range rather than just specifying the product range series.

Your simplest course is not to argue but give them the DoC they want. As you say, Turkey is not in the EU, so it could, if it wanted, require a DoC written on parchment, with gold lettering. Can anyone point me to the relevant section in the EU directives regarding the shipping of spares into the EU? We are shipping a spare PSU PCB assembly into Turkey and the Turkish customs want a Declaration of Conformity document. I know Turkey is not in the EU but they are demanding this documentation. I thought that spare parts/assemblies did not require a Declaration of Conformity document if the part was an identical replacement and is being fitted into an already CE marked product.
