Hi EMC and Safety community,Any advice/information for how to approach EMC and safety for industrial test equipment would be greatly welcomed because I'm new to product safety with experience only in EMC for ITE(4 yrs) and NEBS(1 yr) compliance. Currently reading 'Electrical Product Compliance and Safety Engineer' as recommended by another member. Also wanted to ask some questions regarding factory inspection, - What is the process of executing factory inspection(s) on a manufacturer or supplier? - Do/should I have to be present or is it possible to work with an accredited safety lab? - What documentations should I request for before, during, and after an inspection?
