Derek,

I can't help with the meter, but the chambers I build in the past all had
interlocks and lights that shut down the amplifier power if the doors to the
chamber were unlatched. A green light meant that the door was closed and
latched, a red light meant that the latch had been released (even a little
bit). The colors were chosen to match the "Christmas Tree" on a submarine (my
first job out of college was working on subs). To my knowledge we never had a
problem with this arrangement.

Subject: [PSES] Personal field meter

Hi folks,

I’m looking to add a meter in our control room that would alert us if field
from the test cell leaks into our control room. I have seen a few haz meters
out there but wonders if anyone can share good/bad stories of ones they have
used please.

Offline replies are cool if you don’t want to reply to the group.

Thanks,

Derek Walton
