HI folks, I’ve been asked if there are any EMC requirements on induction motors. Personally I’ve had mixed experience with these, orientation has proved important to not making any emissions.
My gut feel is that they should be inherently quiet and also immune, but is there anything formal in the directive or product standards that excludes them?
