Amund APC is the ability of a device to reduce its transmit power when talking to a neighbour device - i.e. not to "shout" when the device being communicated with is nearby. This prevents the transmitter from occupying that channel over a wider area (volume) than necessary for communication. APC requires bidirectional communication between the two devices that are communicating
