Good day everyone, I hope this finds you well. We have been pursuing ISO 17025 accreditation for an EMC test facility and one standard on our scope is IEC 61326-3-1. We have been trying to avoid using standards that are not EN’s so is there any reason we should have both IEC 61326-3-1 and EN 61326-3-1 on our scope?
Additionally, one client has advised us he will be using our report to support functional safety. That work is done by a 3rd party who is asking that the EMC report has our accrediting body logo on ALL pages. This is the first time I’ve been asked to do that: I’m informed it’s a requirement of IEC 17065. Is this really true? and if so, can anyone point to the clause in IEC 17065 that stipulates that. Many thanks in advance. SIncerely, Derek. - ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message is from the IEEE Product Safety Engineering Society emc-pstc discussion list.
