This hybrid presentation (in-person at Washington Laboratories and virtual online) will review the requirements for environmental testing for military and commercial aerospace systems and components. The objective of the standards is to ensure survivability in the real, harsh and unforgiving operational environments. Corey has 15+ years’ experience in environmental and safety testing, ranging from computer keyboards to critical components on the International Space Station (ISS). Primarily focusing on vibration testing for military and spaceflight equipment, he is also often engaged in evaluating ruggedized COTS devices to the climactic and dynamics requirements of MIL-STD-810, DO-160, and a number of other industry-specific test standards.
