The GPSR is a catch-all for products not covered by other Directives or Regulations. I would think that if your product is already covered by other Directives and/or Regulations (LVD, EMC, RED, MD, etc.) you are covered. So, mostly this is a head's up to others that this is coming: General product safety regulation (2023) | EUR-Lex <https://eur-lex.europa.eu/EN/legal-content/summary/general-product-safety-r egulation-2023.html> Here's a quick rundown of my take after perhaps 15 min speed read and a video or two. This appears to be an effort to close the loops, gaps and exceptions that were allowed with current CE labelling and compliance. The labeling regs seem a little new to me, but I think anybody with a decent CE file that's been recorded by a solid EAR (EU Authorized Representative), is already covered. My firm has a good CE "TCF" file, and I've asked our EAR to confirm that we're already covered for GPSR. Here's my one question: is my quick take accurate?
