According to IEC 61850-3, Clause 6.6.4.2, "Value of the dielectric test
voltage", Table 7, for voltages up to 63 V, AC test voltage of 0.5 kV for one
minute.

Subject: [PSES] POE PORT of a Router ( POE is not connected directly to signal
battery)

HI,

We wanted to know what is the hipot voltage to test the insulation requirements
of a POE port for router that needs to meet IEEE 1613 and IEC 61850-3 standard.
The POE port is not directly connected to the station battery. the 50 + VOLT
on the POE comes from a separate DC DC power supply that is isolated at 2828VDC
from its input and ground.

Thanks
BK.
