I am having trouble getting EMC2 to jog or traverse at any reasonable speed. My setup is: Pentium 3 1.8Ghz Ubuntu 6.06 EMC2 as down loaded using Stepper XYZA Geckos running from the P Port I changed the ini to get the proper steps per Inch but otherwise have left it alone. I have noticed that if I am jogging it and release the arrow key it will keep moving the axis even after the display has stopped moving, if I hold the key too long it will give the following error. EMC1 BDI 2.16 works very well on an older machine with only a 400Mhz AMD K6-3 and simular P Port and Geckos. I have set PID and the FF's the same as the 2.16 setup but still no joy. Any help out there? TIA Ed.
