I'd suspect that the disk is burnt incorrectly. An .iso image is exactly 
that, an exact bit for bit image of the disk, filesystem baggage & all.
Your burner software should have the abilioty to burn an iso image as the 
image, and not as a file.  If you see, when you look at the cd with a 
file browser the iso image name as the same one you burnt, thats wrong, 
what you should be seeing it the contents of that image, its directory 
entry's etc.
