Thank you, I will try. Could it be caused by the fact that when I type in the terminal the command (as indicated in the wiki):
sudo apt-get build-dep emc2-axis I get the following message: E: Could not open file /var/lib/apt/lists/www.linuxcnc.org_emc2_dists_dapper_emc2_source_Sources - open (2 No such file or directory) why? Shouldn't this command download the needed libraries to compile axis? Also, please note that I've the actual version of EMC2 (2.0.5) installed on the same computer and I use Axis to mill parts every day...but maybe the new version needs other libraries, I don't know. thanks again, Manfredi >From: Jeff Epler <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Reply-To: "Enhanced Machine Controller (EMC)" ><emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net> >To: "Enhanced Machine Controller (EMC)" <emc-users@lists.sourceforge.net> >Subject: Re: [Emc-users] TCL ad g-code preprocessor, How to? >Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2007 15:22:46 -0600 > >When you ran "./configure" it checked for the libraries and headers >needed to compile axis.
