I would not recommend Bobcad/CAM either, and until recently have been running the most current version. (V20 until V21 was released). A lot of what I do does use CAD drawings and there have been many times that I have just gone and redrawn the part in Bobcad because the DXF did not import cleanly. Their CAD interface is clumsy, so that can take a while.
