Welcome Jake, I also have a small collection of those servos from the original Deskjets. They are only a little smaller than what runs my mini lathe. Geared 3:1 or 4:1 they have a lot of promise for small machinery. My "source", who works in the recycling business, uses this method to collect them for me: 1) Hold Deskjet at about head level, or a little higher 2) Accelerate Deskjet downward toward concrete at 10m/s^2 or more 3) Locate and pick up nice servo and belt 4) Separate remaining metal, plastic, and circuit board for recycling Chris ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
