Thanks guys. I like your solution way better than my idea.
In setting this up it did not occur to me to try to rapid to the
soft lime to see if it would hit the hard limit. I don't like to test
the machine by trying to break it. The MDSI control I put on has the
slow down spans. When I (you) got homing to work my next thought was
about the spans.
I will set the soft limits a large distance from the end of travel
and try this.
I really appreciate you answering (putting up with) my questions.
I have been looking for a way to help. I feel any help I could offer
would be like the blind leading the blind.
