Gentlemen,
Almost all systems GO with the homing. Using a positive number in
the latch velocity my X axis and Z axis home as they should. They home
every .200 inch. This is expected as the encoders turn 1 revolution
per every .200 inch.
Using positive or negative numbers in the latch velocity parameter
the Y axis still homes in the same erractic manner as the other axes
when the other axes used a negative number in the latch velocity
parameter.
Every once in a while I will get a random following error report
while homing. I tightened the following error to .01. I had it at 10.0
for testing. The axes move under machine control using the jog buttons
or the jog wheel without following error reports.
The following error report is not restricted to one axis although I
haven't seen it on the X axis just the Y and Z axes.
I didn't capture screen shots of the halscope. I can if someone
thinks it will help.
My configuration files are available from Digest 15 4 message 6.
The configuration files are not current per some of the homing
parameters but the tuning paramters are the same. I have only changed
the .ini file all others are the same.
thanks
Stuart
