I have been playing with a 64-bit kernel 2.6.20.12 and the development version of emc. On my one test system, they work just fine together. I've blogged about it here: http://axis.unpy.net/01181319466 Since emc has a portability layer for different realtime systems, all it takes is the interest of a competent programmer to "port" to a new system or to make localized fixes to adapt to changing kernel versions.
