Gentlemen,
I have never met Paul Corner. I heard his name mentioned at the
workshop in Galesburg. It was not mentioned in anger. If someone had
anger toward or about Paul it was not expressed to me. I didn't
discuss the situation in depth as I was far more interested in
learning more about EMC than any other issue.
The feeling I came away with is everyone thinks Paul has some very
important contributions he could make. If the men I know feel this way
then I can only think EMC is missing some development and features
that would "Enhance" the control.
I see some frustration being expressed in some of the posts. I am
reminded of the story of two little old ladies fighting over an
orange. Finally, they agreed to split the orange in half. They took a
knife, split the orange in half and went their separate ways. They
were then asked why they wanted the orange. One wanted to make juice.
The other wanted to grind the peel for a cake. They could have both
had the whole orange.
Is there some way we can head that direction with EMC?
Paul, have you accepted the nomination? Are you going to accept
the nomination? From what I understand you are capable of developing
EMC on your own. The only thing you lack is time. I feel certain if
you would help the EMC group make orange juice they would help you
grind the peel for your cake.
thanks
Stuart
