Yep! I've been scouring the internet for all things modbus and that is
one of the projects I've downloaded. The remarkable feature of their
modlib.py is the very complete set of modbus function definitions. Most
other modbus libraries only implement "3-read holding registers" and
"16-write multiple holding registers", plus maybe a couple others.

On the other hand, Lintouch doesn't implement serial communication
(they're working with modbusTCP), so that needs to be done, as well as
fitting the whole mess into the EMC.
