Up until now, for the development of my UnivPWM lathe, I have been using ini and hal files that contained the minimum entries to get features working. In other words, I set up only the X and Z signals and pins and deleted anything to do with Y, A, B and C. This has worded well until now, but I want to start making test parts and tkemc and AXIS insist on making my second axis Y. I put a dummy second axis back in my ini file and AXIS (lathe = 1) shows a Z axis, now but the encoder signals seem to be going to an invisible Y and I get joint errors. Does anyone have documentation on how the ini and hal files and tkecm and AXIS interact? Where does axis.? become X, Y or Z? Thank you.
