Have any of you built your own power supplies for stepper drives?
I have seen some examples that use a Plitron transformer.
Where is a good source for them?
Is it common to oversize the capicity of the transformer?
For stepper motors is there a common voltage for the transformer?
I notice that the Automation Direct power supply is 32 volts.
Is this a common voltage?
