Hi Dean, I don't know why you are surprised. My understanding is that the Mach pulse generation engine sits under Windows, getting the timing interrupt very early, before windows has a change to waste it.
I see no reason why it would not be as good. That said I haven't compared the two. At the moment Mach can now generate step pulses at 100KHz. Cheers, Peter.
