I was only realizing (after very little prodding) that a lot of prospective CNC users don't know what closed loop actually means. There are people who claim that having position feedback makes the system closed loop. We know that's not true, but it's impossible to educate people properly in a small table cell. It's not all that easy with a protracted discusssion via a Yahoo group either ;) I was saying that the data should be left out of the table because it's too hard to explain, but in no way did I mean to imply that the feature isn't useful, or that we should take it out of EMC2.
