I seem to have a mental block on how to calculate the voltage I need to run my steppers. I'm using a Gecko 203v that takes from 15 to 80 volts. The manual states that the voltage should be no less than 4 times and no more than 20 times the motors rated voltage. Here is the problem my motors don't have a rated voltage.
The motor specifications are Rated Current 2.8 A/phase Resistance 1.10 ohm Inductance 3.82 mH Any ideas?
