I could not test your program right now but I think I see the
problem.

The crosshair will always follow the plot.  When using compensation
the plot changes to represent the compensated path of the tool origin.

What I did when I wanted to see the compensation was to remove the G41
(or use G41 D0) and run the program.  Then without clearing the
backplot, I put the G41 back and reloaded to generate a new preview.
Then it's easy to see the compensation, and when running the program
again you can see the tool radius following the old (uncompensated)
path.
