Hi I have question about how EMC2 controller compare with GE-FANUC controller in perspective software hardware part of computation.
What is software? What is hardware? My understanding that EMC2 more relay on software and GE-FANUC more on hardware. In other ward there are difference between small calculator where software burn into memory chip and it is more stable and software that can be simply loaded on the top of operating system. First is more stable and to change software need to change chip hardware. Second less table but it is possible to simply develop new software and load it, no change in hardware is necessary. That is my understanding. Can some systemize understanding of software and hardware that applicable into comparison between EMC2 and GE-Fanuc. I never sow regular hard drive HD that we know in PC inside of GE-Fanuc controller. How is possible?
