Gentlemen,
Thank you for the reply. I placed the '5axisbridgegui.py' in the
src/emc/user_intf/axis/Submakefile. In the section with the other .py
files. I did ./configure --enable-run-in-place and make and make
setuid.
The tk shell representation of the machine comes up but the feedback
in the shell tells me:
Machine configuration directory is '/home/stustev/emc2-trunk/configs/5axis'
Machine configuration file is '5axis.ini'
Starting EMC2...
Waiting for component '5axisbridgegui' to become
ready..........................................................................................................
5axisbridge_sim.hal:108: 5axisbridgegui exited without becoming ready
Shutting down and cleaning up EMC2...
Cleanup done
the dots continue indefinitely until I press cntl c
progress
I can see it boiling but it is still not soup yet
