Gentlemen,
I am trying to get the nc application to run with a script. I have
a script, written by cradek, to run an .apt program in the background
against apt360 and write it into the control. Chis' works well.
Here is my attempt:
#!/bin/sh
gnome-terminal -e krisnc
exit 0
This opens the terminal and starts krisnc. I can run krisnc to
create the nc tape. I just don't know how to get it into EMC2
automatically. I have modified the application krisnc to output
EMC1.tap as the name of every file it creates.
To start this script I created an empty file in nc_files. When I
pick the file 1shopaid.knc it runs this script to start krisnc in the
terminal. I am only using 1shopaid.knc to start the script. There may
be a much better way to run this application interactive.
