Javid, Since I couldn't figure out how to publish something in the emc-wiki, I wrote something at http://martinschoeneck.de/hal-write and uploaded the needed files.
Maybe you have a look and give me some feedback if the idea using eagle for hal-config is helpful or not. If there are questions, don't hesitate to ask me - its just quick and dirty at present. --martin > I use EAGLE, and would be interested in learning more about this. > > Javid > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Martin Schöneck" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "Enhanced (EMC)" <[email protected]> > Sent: Sunday, January 13, 2008 3:31 PM > Subject: [Emc-users] Interested in generating HAL-configuration with > EagleCAD? > > > Is anyone interested in drawing the HAL-configuration with the EAGLE CAD > > schematics-editor (http://www.cadsoft.de)? > > > > I did not find a tool to configure my emc2 graphically, so I built a > > devices-library for Eagle with some of the hal-components (mainly the > > ones I > > used for my desktop-mill and some additional). > > These devices can be used to draw the HAL-config as a normal schematic. > > Afterwards a user language program exports the schematic to a .hal-file. > > > > Its more a workaround than a configuration tool, but if you know Eagle a > > bit, > > this is a possibility to create the configuration more easy than editing > > the > > hal-file manually. > > > > I just want to have some feedback if I should post it in the wiki or > > somewhere > > else, or if there is better tool I didn't find. > > > > > > --martin > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > > just about anything Open Source. > > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;164216239;13503038;w?http://sf.net/marketpl > >ace _______________________________________________ > > Emc-users mailing list > > [email protected] > > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace. > It's the best place to buy or sell services for > just about anything Open Source. > http://ad.doubleclick.net/clk;164216239;13503038;w?http://sf.net/marketplac >e _______________________________________________ > Emc-users mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/emc-users ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
