Gentle persons: I am a long-time lurker on this list who has been looking forward eagerly to spending my weekend at this year's Cabin Fever Expo and finally meeting folks who are just email "handles" to me now.
The planning was done, my wife convinced, the Google maps printed, and the car gassed up. Then today I got one of "those" phone calls. Now I'm booked on a flight from DC to New Mexico to help my mother through an acute health episode (note to file: try not to be so shocked next time by last-minute airfares for flights that span a three-day holiday weekend! I could'a bought a mini-mill for what my flights cost. Yikes.). For my benefit and the benefit of lots of other non-participants, I hope y'all will be able to document as much as possible of the EMC/CNC activities. I'll take whatever I can get...A/V would be fantastic but it's hard to do well (I know, I've tried!)...a bunch of pictures of interesting artifacts/people posted somewhere (the EMC Wiki? a suitable Yahoo Group?) would be great.
